ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine – Physician Assistant Studies is seeking a qualified individual for a Part-time, Clinical Coordinator of Physician Assistant Clinical Studies. This position will direct and oversee the development, content, implementation, and evaluation of the clinical curriculum.  Provide guidance and direction to clinical faculty involved.   Develop an annual strategic plan for maintaining and developing new clinical faculty and visit new clinical sites as directed by the program chair (or designee).  Teach, evaluate, and advise didactic and clinical year students.  Provide direct liaison with appropriate PCOM faculty and departments involved in medical and health science education and with external agencies useful to the clinical teaching program.  Assist with preparation of grants, reports, and self-studies related to funding and accreditation.  Develop and implement ideas, procedures, and functions of the PA program in concert with the program chair (or designee), medical director, and clinical faculty.

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Must maintain state licensure and national certification as a Physician Assistant.  Prefer at least 4 years of experience.
