ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • The Department of Psychology at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) is seeking a doctoral level, state (or nationally) certified and licensed (or license-eligible) school psychologist for a half-time (12-month) position, entering at the Clinical Assistant Professor level, to begin immediately.  This position is already funded for these NASP approved MS, EdS and PsyD School Psychology Programs.  The PsyD Program is also listed among ASPPB’s Designated Programs Responsibilities include teaching across programs, mentoring dissertations, clinical supervision, scholarly activity in areas of specialty, and departmental and college committee work.  Degree in School Psychology or a related field from a NASP approved and/or an APA-Accredited Program, emphasis in cognitive-behavioral training, and a planned program of scholarly activity are required.  Applicants with experience in tests and measurements (highly preferable) as well as research design, neuropsychology and/or applied behavior analysis will be given preference.  However, all interested individuals, especially minority candidates, are encouraged to apply.

  • Candidate must also qualify for Core Faculty status per American Psychological Association guidelines (individual’s primary professional employment [50% or more] must be with PCOM’s School PsyD program, i.e., at least 50% of individual’s professional time must be exclusively devoted to program-related activities). Please send your letter of interest, curriculum vitae, and three letters of reference.
